Robert Browne - Founder, Vice President of Business Development

Robert Browne has over 17 years of business development and entrepreneurial experience. Browne obtained the seed venture capital and led the initiative to spin out Signiant from Nortel. While at Bell Northern Research Ltd. and Nortel, he was responsible for several product and business development initiatives and product innovation in the Advanced Technology Lab. |
Rick Cramer - Senior Vice President Global Operations

A 20-year veteran of the high-tech industry, Rick Cramer has a wealth of executive-level experience, combined with expertise in growing software businesses from the ground up. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of worldwide sales & marketing at Centra where he helped establish the company as a leader in web-based collaborative solutions. Prior to Centra, Cramer was president and CEO of Veridiem, where he engineered a successful restart from an ASP-based marketing consultancy to an enterprise software solutions and services company. Rick was a founding member and an executive vice president at Avid Technology where he grew annual revenues from zero to $400M and was instrumental in Avid's successful IPO. Prior to Avid, Rick held sales and marketing positions with Apollo Computer and Xerox Corporation. |
Brian Bailey - Vice President of Solution Services

Brian Bailey has an extensive background in implementing innovative, high-value professional services and customer support in the data management market. Most recently, Bailey was Director of Services Support for GiantLoop, an optical network services startup. Prior to that he was vice president of solution services for Praxis International, a database replication solution company which was acquired by Lakeview Technology. He also held technical management positions at Platinum Technology and Valid Logic Systems. |
Ian Hamilton - CTO, Vice President of Development

Ian Hamilton is Signiant's CTO and Vice President of Development. Ian has been an innovator and entrepreneur in Internet and system software for over 20 years. Most recently he was Vice President of Product Development at ISOTRO Network Management Inc, which was acquired by Bay Networks, and subsequently by Nortel Networks. He brings over 15 years of experience in communications systems integration as well as software sales, marketing and development. |
Thomas A. Ohanian - Chief Strategy Officer

Tom Ohanian oversees the development, improvement and customer acceptance of all Signiant offerings with a special focus on exceptional customer experiences and continuous innovation. Ohanian is an accomplished strategist, designer, and inventor of digital media products and workflow solutions and was a founding member of Avid Technology. Drawing upon his 26 years in the media industries, his inventions and efforts in product creation and evangelization have led to the widespread adoption of digital nonlinear video, film editing systems and workflow strategies in addition to LAN and WAN digital media collaboration. He is an Academy Award® and a two-time Emmy® recipient. |
Will Porter - Chief Financial Officer

With over 18 years of experience at both private and public companies in the high-tech industry, Will Porter has extensive financial, accounting, and operational experience in high-growth environments. Most recently he served as Vice President of Finance at Phase Forward, a provider of data management solutions for clinical trials, where he played a leading role in building the company's annual run rate from $1.0 million to over $100 million in revenue and in driving Phase Forward's successful IPO in 2004. In addition, Porter was instrumental in completing three acquisitions during his tenure. Prior to Phase Forward, he held roles of increasing responsibilities in finance and accounting at Epsilon Data Management, WebHire and Summit Technology. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP, during which time he achieved his CPA certification. |
Julie Blaisdell - Vice President of Strategic Alliances

Julie Blaisdell is responsible for Signiant's strategic alliance direction and revenue-generating partnerships. Julie has over 10 years of experience implementing and managing global business-development initiatives and sales strategies. She was a key contributor at SMARTS acquired by EMC in 2004. Most recently, she managed global partnerships for Softek including EMC, IBM Global Services, and Dimension Data, with annual global revenues exceeding $10 billion. |
Tony Lapolito - Vice President of Marketing

Tony Lapolito is responsible for Signiant’s global marketing operations and will help guide the company’s overall market strategy. Tony has over fifteen years of experience in the networking and video industries, having held executive management positions at VidSys, Cisco, SightPath, Artel Video Systems and 3Com. Prior to most recently holding the position of VP of Marketing at VidSys, Tony managed the marketing efforts of Cisco Systems' Application and Content Networking division. During his tenure at Cisco, he oversaw the successful integration of the SightPath, Arrowpoint, Tasmania Networks and Precept Software acquisitions, while realizing substantial revenue growth. |
David Nortier - Managing Director EMEA

David Nortier heads Signiant's European, Middle Eastern and African operations. Nortier has more than 20 years of experience delivering industry-leading IT solutions to customers. Prior to joining Signiant, Nortier was General Manager for Storage Essentials EMEA at Hewlett Packard. He was Vice President and General Manager of EMEA for AppIQ, Inc., a storage management software innovator acquired by HP in 2005. Prior to that, he was Vice President of European Operations for TrelliSoft, Inc., a leading provider of storage resource management solutions acquired by IBM in 2002. David was also European sales manager for HighGround Systems, where he contributed over 50 percent of the company's worldwide revenues leading up to the company's acquisition by Sun Microsystems. |
