File-based workflows are the inevitable result of the transition from analog to digital production. This transition has, in turn, created an explosion of digital media content which must be ingested and moved rapidly throughout the enterprise. Point-to-point file movement of large files in the telco, media and entertainment space is increasingly becoming a challenge.

Signiant has developed the Media Accelerator Signiant Deployment Package (SDP) for customers who are in need of bi-directional file acceleration between 2 or more locations over a WAN. With the Media Accelerator SDP, customers have the ability to securely move files bi-directionally among 15 geographically dispersed locations. Included in the SDP is the ability to generate numerous report types on files including job status, completions, bandwidth used, completion time and a variety of other attributes.
