Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA)

The Advanced Media Workflow Association is a user-focused industry body dedicated to the promotion, development and adoption of open, accessible standards and specifications relating to file-based workflows (including AAF, MXF and other formats), Service Oriented Architectures, and Application Specifications as they apply to the areas of content creation, production, post-production, rich media authoring, archiving and distribution.

Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX)

The Airline Passenger Experience Association encompasses a network of businesses and professionals that are committed to providing a world-class airline experience for passengers around the globe. Every day APEX members are improving every aspect of the airline experience: from designing, building and installing seating, entertainment and communications systems on commercial aircraft, to airport lounges and inflight dining.

Hollywood Post Alliance (HPA)

The Hollywood Post Alliance®, also known as HPA® , is the trade association serving the Southern California-based professional community of businesses and individuals who provide expertise, support, tools and the infrastructure for the creation and finishing of motion pictures, television, commercials, digital media and other dynamic media content.

International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM)

The IABM is the authoritative voice of the broadcast and media technology supply industry worldwide. It seeks to further the interests of members through partnership and representation on a range of issues. Activities include Market Research & Intelligence Services, Representation & Mediation, Event Participation Services, Executive Networking Opportunities, Technical & Environmental Standards Reporting and Liaison.

Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA)

The Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) supports service providers in building efficiencies in the creation, production and distribution of physical and digital media and entertainment. The group also aims to foster end-to-end collaboration among entertainment service providers, their customers and trading partners, and provide other tangible benefits to members, such as market intelligence, research initiatives, industry advocacy and collaborative workgroups.

National Association of Broadcasters (NAB)

The National Association of Broadcasters is the voice for the nation’s radio and television broadcasters. As the premier trade association for broadcasters, NAB advances the interests of our members in federal government, industry and public affairs; improves the quality and profitability of broadcasting; encourages content and technology innovation; and spotlights the important and unique ways stations serve their communities.

Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE)

The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) is the only organization solely devoted to the advancement of all levels and types of broadcast engineering.  With more than 5,500 members and 114 local chapters, SBE provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of information to help you keep pace with our rapidly changing industry. SBE amplifies the voices of broadcast engineers by validating your skills with professional certification, by offering educational opportunities to maintain and expand those skills and by speaking out on technical regulatory issues that affect how you work.

Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE)

The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) was founded in 1916 to advance theory and development in the motion imaging field. Today, SMPTE serves its members with the latest technology information and education on a rapidly changing industry. SMPTE also is an accredited and globally respected industry standards-setting body. As the leading technical society for the motion imaging industry, SMPTE is shaping the future of the constantly evolving content business.

Sports Video Group (SVG)

The Sports Video Group was formed in 2006 to support the professional community that relies on video, audio, and broadband technologies to produce and distribute sports content. Leagues, owners, teams, players, broadcasters, webcasters, and consumer technology providers have joined the SVG to learn from each other, turn vision into reality, implement new innovations, while sharing experiences that will lead to advancements in the sports production/distribution process and the overall consumer sports experience.
