Signiant’s culture embraces the belief that, quite simply, we’re all in this together. And, that some of the best ideas and innovations are inspired by the people, projects and communities we support outside of the office. Our employees actively donate their time and resources on initiatives that enrich the local communities where we live and work, such as:
1st Merrickville Scout Group | Merrickville Village, Ontario
The oldest Scout group in North America, 1st Merrickville helps young people develop physically, intellectually and socially to build confidence, self-esteem and important leadership skills through outdoor adventure, education and fun.
Greater Boston Food Bank | Boston, Massachusetts
The Food Bank’s mission is to end hunger in eastern Massachusetts. By 2013, the group aims to distribute enough food to provide at least one meal a day to those in need.
Movember Canada | Ottawa, Canada
Every November, “Movember” is responsible for sprouting moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate cancer and mental health initiatives.
Homes for Troops | Boston, Massachusetts
This non-profit raises money for materials and professional labor to build specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans and their families, giving them the freedom to live more independently.
Ottawa Therapy Dogs | Ottawa, Canada
Ottawa Therapy Dogs Inc. is a volunteer-based organization providing animal-assisted activities and therapy with members’ registered therapy dogs.
Ronald McDonald House Hockey Challenge | Seattle, Washington
For the third year, Signiant is pleased to sponsor the Microsoft IT Team’s annual Hockey Challenge fundraiser with the Seattle Thunderbirds for Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides a “home-away-from-home” at little to no cost for families with seriously ill children.
Trips for Kids | Ottawa, Canada
TFKO is a non-profit organization that provides mountain bike outings and environmental education for kids who would not otherwise be exposed to such activities. Outings teach lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through the simple act of having fun!
