Workflow to be showcased at Akamai Customer Conference
BURLINGTON, MA Oct 21, 2009 — Signiant®, Inc., the leading developer of content distribution management solutions, is pleased to announce that it is participating in the Akamai Customer Conference, which takes place on October 20-22 in Boston, MA, USA.
Signiant and Akamai first entered into a partnership for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, one of the most ambitious media projects in history, where Signiant delivered thousands of media assets to Akamai in a fully automated workflow throughout the event. Since then Signiant has been
used to deliver millions of assets to Akamai NetStorage for the world's largest users of CDN services.
Signiant will demonstrate its Content Distribution Management (CDM) solution in conjunction with Akamai NetStorage at the event, highlighting how customers can reduce costs through automation, provide faster and prioritized delivery and reduce upload errors.
"Signiant's partnership with Akamai provides customers with a more efficient, scalable and automated way of uploading content, regardless of its location or file size," said Tony Lapolito, VP Marketing and Product Management. "As demand increases for more and more content in multiple formats and versions, the Signiant solution gives customers control over the distribution of their content."
