Roland Bavington joins sales team from Isilon
BURLINGTON, MA March 26, 2008 — Signiant®, Inc., the leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions for the telco, media and entertainment industries, today announced the appointment of Roland Bavington as sales director for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia as the company expands its European operation.
Bavington brings over 13 years of experience working with networking, storage and security solutions, in a variety of markets including Media, Pharmaceuticals and Finance. He previously held the role of UK Area Director for Isilon, selling clustered storage solutions to the Media and Oil and Gas markets. Bavington has also worked with automated tape libraries and file system software at Quantum (formerly ADIC) and was responsible for a portfolio of security products at Computer Associates.
