With 14 different workflows behind the scenes, Signiant’s software managed file movement and process automation on the back-end to ensure that the viewer experience was seamless as the games were streamed via Akamai. Since 2007, the NFL Network has used Signiant to upload game footage to secure storage for review, cataloging and editing. Footage is also sent to weekly highlight shows such as NFL Replay for broadcast. Signiant helps the NFL Network meet tight turnaround times, save on physical distribution and associated labor costs, and increase the number of clips aired during programming. Replacing previous tape-based delivery processes, WWE uses Signiant fille movement software to exchange video content with NBC Universal which runs WWE programs on several of its channel networks weekly, including USA and Syfy.
