Step 1: Download Software
- Request an activation key to be emailed to you.
- Download the server software to a Windows PC.
Step 2: Install and Activate
- Launch the Media Shuttle installer.
- Enter your activation key. (Check your spam filter.)
- If using a laptop or user desktop, disable Skype.
- Configure router/firewall for port forwarding*.
- A green system status indicator means you’re done!
Step 3: Send Files
- Brand your Shuttle, design notifications, add users.
- Send/receive media files fast and securely!
* For firewall configurations, contact your IT resource to open necessary ports.
Tips for Mac users
Media Shuttle Standard uses Java to accelerate file transfers. Download Java version 6 update 22 or higher, then bring up Spotlight and look for Java. Select Java Preferences.
Once selected, you'll see something like this. Check off the box to enable the applet plug-in.
