With the Carbon Coder Plug-In installed on the Central Media Manager (CMM), customers can tightly integrate transcoding functions into their Signiant environment. Signiant can initiate transcoding jobs within the Carbon Coder product and move digital packages through the predefined workflow set up in the CMM. Using the APIs the Signiant CMM can pass instructions to the Carbon Coder including Job Profile; Source and Target Directory; Title, Description; and various other transcoding properties. Additionally, Signiant's product extensibility enables the CMM to provide real time status including job progress, percent complete and any success or failure notification through email or custom reports.
