 Having the ability to cost-effectively and efficiently manage the content workflow from ingest and production to large-scale distribution is becoming increasingly important to Signiant customers. Combining Signiant software and STRATACACHE OmniCast content distribution technology, end users control their rich media packages by transparently bridging B2B workflow automation with multicast distribution. Utilizing OmniCast's robust "one-to-many" distribution engine, files can be reliably distributed to over 100,000 endpoints concurrently. The OmniCast API component allows the Signiant Central Media Manager (CMM) to pass instructions and information to the OmniCast server, including endpoints to target, billing account numbers, and email notification lists. Additionally, the Signiant CMM receives real-time status and notification when the digital package has been delivered.
