Signiant will be attending Broadcast LIVE 2007, held at Earls Court 2 in London, from 19th – 21st June, exhibiting at stand F30.
BURLINGTON, MA 24th May 2007 – Signiant Inc., the leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions for the media and entertainment industry, today announced that it will be attending Broadcast LIVE 2007, held at Earls Court 2 in London, from 19 – 21 June, exhibiting at stand F30.
Following its launch at NAB, Signiant has been leading the way in digital media distribution management, announcing many new important customers and partnerships within the film and television industry. In March 2007, NBC Universal chose Signiant's technology to power its digital media distribution management strategy, helping NBC Universal manage, secure, automate and accelerate its entire digital media workflow. Following this, LA-based Modern VideoFilm, a leader in post-production services for over two decades, became one of the country's first post-production companies to develop a comprehensive digital media distribution strategy, entirely based on Signiant's Digital Media Distribution Management Suite.
However, Signiant's success is not just limited to the US. In April 2007, Pepper, one of the UK's leading post-production facilities, became the first in Europe to deploy Signiant's Digital Media Distribution Management Suite into its workflow.
As well as this impressive success rate amongst production and post-production facilities, Signiant has also gained many reputable partner companies since its launch. In March 2007, Bitcentral integrated Signiant's technology into its entire product line, offering fast and easy upload of user-generated news content. In April, Signiant then announced its native integration with Avid TransferManager on Avid editing systems, helping manage, secure, automate and accelerate Avid workflows, which was demonstrated for the first time at NAB this year. At Broadcast LIVE this year, Signiant will be demonstrating its Digital Media Distribution Management Suite through its popular animated feature, shown at NAB. Tom Ohanian, founding member and Vice President of product development, will also be speaking at the conference on day 2 in Session 1 in the features area., discussing "A Totally Tapeless Experience", looking at the challenges of file-based production from the users' point of view. Following this, at 5pm on the Manage stage on the exhibition floor, Tom will be demonstrating a free training session on "Developing a Platform for the Management, Security, Automation and Acceleration of Digital Assets" – explaining the fundamental requirements of a software system for the broadcast, film and video post-production industry.
