BURLINGTON, MA (April 23, 2008) — Signiant, the leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions for the telco, media and entertainment industries, today announced that Broadcast Engineering recognized its Digital Media Distribution Management Suite (DMDMS) as a “Pick Hit” at the annual National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, held April 14-17, 2008. The Broadcast Engineering “Pick Hit” award is the industry’s longest-running product technology award for broadcast and production. Signiant, along with other winners, will be featured in the June 2008 issue of Broadcast Engineering magazine.
Broadcast Engineering “Pick Hits” were selected by a panel of independent judges who toured the exhibition floor at NAB Show 2008 for three days, looking for innovative technology. They then met to make their selections based on multiple criteria, including the technical and financial improvements the products can bring to a facility’s operation.
“Every year, the NAB Show features the latest in technical innovations from throughout the film and broadcast industries,” said Tony Lapolito, vice president of marketing, Signiant, Inc. “To be singled out by Broadcast Engineering for doing what we do best is truly an honor and really validates the market buzz and adoption that Signiant is receiving.”
