Workflow simplification and optimization has long been a major goal in the Media and Entertainment industry. Efforts to make workflows efficient, cost-effective, and adaptable to fluctuating business needs and constraints have driven successive waves of technological innovation and investment across the industry. Though there has been some successes, no single philosophical or technological approach has really lived up to expectations.
