Signiant’s newest solution providers include AD Digital of Brazil, Altered Images in the UK, Fofic Media Solutions in The Netherlands, Mediatrade in Finland, Promovisa in Spain, SAV in France and Visual Unity in the Czech Republic. These partners will offer various Signiant products, including subscription-based Media Shuttle file transfer software delivered from the cloud.

Signiant and Sohonet today announced that the Sohonet FileRunner Service based on Signiant Media Shuttle file transfer software has been named among this year’s “Best of IBC” award winners by TVB Europe magazine. Selected in the Production and Infrastructure category, the service provides easy-to-use tools for moving high-value media assets between the media organizations that use the high-performance Sohonet Media Network.

We released our new Media Shuttle product in late July and since then we’ve been hard at work adding some great new features. Because Media Shuttle administration and UI is delivered in the cloud, these features are available immediately to every user – no upgrades required!

The addition of Sohonet FileRunner, the media transfer capability based on Signiant Media Shuttle, represents the next phase of development for the Sohonet Hub, which will also include a portal to Sohonet’s storage and render offerings, graphs and metrics on bandwidth usage and performance and access to Sohonet’s 24/7 support ticketing system.
