- Enhanced Directory Navigation: Explore folder hierarchy in Jet endpoints and Media Shuttle Share portals to more quickly search for assets without needing to switch back and forth between multiple products.
- Proxyless Media Preview: Preview media directly within its storage location. Media Engine’s innovative, patented on-demand play feature allows you to play a variety of professional media formats in a web browser without having to pre-generate and store proxies.
- Metadata Inspection: Media Engine’s Detail View allows users to quickly view the file information, including descriptive, technical, and custom metadata associated with any asset.
- Custom Actions: Configure customizable actions to trigger automated workflows on media assets stored anywhere in your Signiant-connected storage. Send clips to transcode or to an AI-based metadata enrichment service — initiate simple or complex actions with a single click.
- Generate and Retrieve Clip: Mark in and out points to create and download just the portion of a file you need — a feature known as partial file retrieval. This saves time and reduces egress costs.
- Send and Share: Once you find the asset you’re looking for, you can move it using Signiant’s familiar file transfer capabilities. Files can be seamlessly downloaded or sent via Media Shuttle, without leaving the Media Engine interface.
