SMPTE+ Event Series

June 3

This month marks the debut of SMPTE’s new SMPTE+ Event Series, which will span four conferences between June and December. This month’s focus will be on color science, with an exciting panel entitled Expanding the Color Universe: The Next Frontier in Imaging.

Signiant is proud to be a sponsor of the entire series, which presents a wide variety of topics vital to all different interests within M&E: Media in the Cloud on August 17; Implementation of IP Infrastructures on October 25; and Workflow and Media Creation in Post COVID Time on December 14. We highly encourage organizations invested in media innovation and media technology to keep an eye on this new offering from SMPTE which is free for SMPTE members. No matter your interests, you’ll likely find something for you!

TV+Sports Summit

June 10

The Future of Live Sports Broadcasting is part of the Summer TV 2021 Summit presented by Next TV, Broadcasting + Cable, Multichannel News, and TV Tech. Here, some of the most dynamic voices in television will gather to discuss the landscape of live sports broadcasting, what technological and operational challenges have yet to be overcome, and what the industry looks like in the wake of COVID-19. Last year’s pandemic was transformational for so much of M&E, but live sports perhaps most visibly. Now, as leagues and teams get back in the game, broadcasters look forward to an exciting and innovative future.

When you attend this free event, be sure to drop by the Signiant virtual booth to discuss how accelerated file transfer has helped live sports production get back on its feet. With a wealth of resources for you to explore, our experts are excited to hear about your organization’s needs and how Signiant’s software can help improve your operations.
