At IBC2019, Signiant will introduce new capabilities to its SDCX (Software-Defined Content Exchange) SaaS platform to simplify secure content exchange between companies.

Another year, another successful IBC in the books! As usual, it was an event filled with industry innovations and newly emerging technologies being showcased across the RAI’s 15 halls. Sunday was one of the show’s biggest nights as hundreds gathered for the IBC Innovation Awards Ceremony. Split into three categories, the award winners are recognized for the “best applications of technology to achieve a real goal for the broadcaster or media company”.

Signiant, the leading provider of SaaS solutions for fast, reliable global access to high-value media files, has announced that some of the media industry’s most innovative emerging cloud services will be showcased with the company’s SaaS platform at IBC 2017. One such partner, Hybrik, brings a unique new model to the cloud transcoding space that aligns particularly well with Signiant’s pioneering efforts to make cloud technology accessible to the industry.

Signiant has announced an enhanced security option for Media Shuttle, the person-centric variant of the company’s market-leading SaaS platform. The enhanced security option is powered by Fortium, an established provider of digital content protection solutions for the Media & Entertainment industry. Both companies are trusted suppliers to the world’s largest media enterprises, providing essential solutions for Hollywood studios and top-tier broadcast and cable networks.

Signiant has announced that several groundbreaking new technologies developed by partners will be showcased interoperating with the company’s platform at IBC 2017. Demonstrations of the Signiant platform interoperating with technology from Fortium, Hybrik and GrayMeta will be presented at IBC 2017 on Stand 14.L08.

Signiant today announced that Stockholm-based production and post production firm Chimney Group has adopted Media Shuttle to move large media files quickly, easily and securely between its 10 offices in seven countries, and to partners and customers worldwide.
