Congratulations to our customers: 2018 Oscar winners for The Shape of Water and more

Sunday’s 90th Academy Awards may have marked a milestone in diversity and inclusion in Hollywood filmmaking. The biggest take-away came from just two words spoken by Francis McDermond during her acceptance speech for Best Actress in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri: “inclusion riders.”

If you haven’t seen the TED Talk that inspired her words by Dr. Stacy Smith, a communications professor and researcher at the University of Southern California specializing in gender equity in film and television, it’s worth watching.

On a lighter but no less inspiring note, we wanted to congratulate our customers who were central to creating the 2018 Oscar winning films below. You know who you are.

The Shape of Water (Winner, Best Picture, Score and Production Design)

Dunkirk (Winner, Film Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing)

Blade Runner 2049 (Winner, Visual Effects and Cinematography)

Call Me by Your Name (Winner, Adapted Screenplay)

A Fantastic Woman (Winner, Foreign Language Film)

Coco (Winner, Animated Feature)

Congratulations and thank you for your unending commitment to making great films that entertain us, educate us, sometimes disturb us, and always expand our minds.
