Founded in Stockholm over 20 years ago, Chimney Group produces more than 6,000 outputs in over 60 countries every year. Since they work with international brands, file transfer is core to their business. And they tried many different options to move media files throughout production, post-production and delivery — including FTP and open-source file acceleration — before adopting Media Shuttle.

Today, they are a classic success story and their business thrives with reliable, easy-to-use and secure large file transfers. But what they tried and failed at might be the more interesting story.

Creative problem solvers at heart, Chimney Group certainly gave other options a good try, and their story is revealing to anyone wondering what file transfer has looked like over the years at a forward-thinking international production company.

We had a chance to write a full case study on Chimney Group and their experience both before and after using Media Shuttle. Here is their full story.
