Happy First Birthday to the DPP

A year of file-based delivery guidelines in the U.K.

The United Kingdom’s Digital Production Partnership (DPP) is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month. And, as founding members of the partnership, we wanted to share in congratulating them on a year of success.

Championed by big broadcasters like the BBC and ITV to create a shift towards a unified file-based delivery system for all U.K. television companies and broadcasters, the initiative hoped to maximize the potential of digital production across the industry.

One year in, it seems they’ve done just that.
