Platform Enhancements

Tired of making and storing proxy files, just to play your media? Media Engine’s patent-pending, on-demand play feature allows you to play a wide variety of professional media formats without having to pre-generate and store proxies. This enables more rigorous review of the video and audio before downloading a heavy asset.

Generate and retrieve clips: Using the on-demand proxies, users can mark in and out points to select a specific portion of a media asset. Once the clip has been created, it can be sent or downloaded. This ability to download only the portion of interest, commonly known as partial file retrieval or partial restore, can save time and egress costs.

Signiant Jet now supports cloud-to-cloud operations for reliable, mission-critical transport jobs where both the source and destination are public cloud endpoints. Jet also makes working with growing files at the source and destination easy, supporting both on-prem and cloud storage endpoints. Watch now
