The Future of Cloud Computing Survey

We’ve written a lot about the cloud, and it’s a topic that’s important to us here at Signiant. Over the past few years, we’ve seen a shift in the media and entertainment industry, with more acceptance of cloud technology. And, across verticals, cloud conversations are front and center. Now that organizations understand the value of the cloud and are adopting cloud technology, what’s next for cloud computing?

To address this question, North Bridge Venture Partners is conducting its fourth annual Future of Cloud Computing Survey in partnership with GigaOm Research. Signiant is participating in the survey once again this year.

We’ve teamed up with 66 other collaborating organizations to help spread the word about the survey which is focused on determining the drivers and inhibitors to cloud adoption. It will shed light on industry trends such as what applications are moving to the cloud, the reasons for this migration and the competitive implications for organizations to think strategically about cloud computing.

North Bridge will announce the results at the GigaOm Structure conference. You can view the results of the last three years’ surveys here: http://www.northbridge.com/cloud-computing.

We’re excited to participate again in this important initiative, and look forward to learning more about how cloud computing will continue to evolve.
